Sir stars in ad campaign

This isn't Stuart's first television appearance; last October he was featured on the BBC London News in a feature about Oxford and Cambridge graduates starting out their teaching careers at new schools.

It was after watching this that producers contacted him for their next advert.

The ten-second endorsement features Stuart drinking tea out of a Tottenham mug and a boy teasing him about Arsenal beating them at the weekend.

After this banter' the class get down to some work.

He said: "It was a long day for only ten seconds of film but the kids really enjoyed it and it was a great experience for them.

"The advert is true to life. I am a Spurs fan and the boy involved is an Arsenal fan. I've never actually taught him but we joke about football a lot."

Lionel's Blog

You heard Roger Clemens say he couldn't care less if he gets in the Hall of Fame after the recent steroid and HGH allegations. Roger doesn't care. Randy does and always did. I hope it's the Year of the Goose and the Gradishar.

If I were the Avs I'd sign Peter Forsberg right now whether he can skate or not. Right now the biggest "star" the Avs have is Lappy. Paul Stastny will be back next week to help out but if they want people in the seats (which they're not getting right now) then Forsberg is the main attraction. Bring him back and let the chips fall where they may. .

Students are most susceptible to brain injury

But until recently, the group most susceptible to traumatic brain injuries has been relegated to the bench.

High school students are on the receiving end of at least 68,000 concussions a year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There are likely many more though, because young athletes seldom report the injury. New studies outline dangerous trends in concussions, and professional leagues such as the NFL and NHL are teaming up to promote concussion education.

Fellows's September collision was at least her third since she was a freshman in high school, and the worst that coach Jennifer Rockwood has seen in her nearly 20 years at BYU. It was the worst most anyone had seen. As Fellows hit the ground, players were already yelling for the trainer who was on the field before getting the OK from the referee.

Kerry Katona’s husband tells lover: marriage is all about the money

A woman, Samantha Riaz, has claimed she had a brief affair with former taxi driver Mark last summer but only found out he was married after the relationship came to an end. However, she told the Sun, his wedding vows - and the fact Kerry is currently heavily pregnant with his child - didn't stop Mark from calling her again last week.

Samantha told the newspaper that she then asked him directly about his marriage and after initially denying it, she asked specifically about Kerry and he replied: "It's not like that. She's alright, but, she's not my cup of tea. It's about the money, innit? Forget her."

Mark is also said to have had a fling with a barmaid shortly before marrying Kerry last February, just weeks before the I'm a Celebrity… star gave birth to their daughter Heidi.

Travel magazine boosts Biloxi

More than a million people should see Biloxi is "Alive and Thriving" when they read a two-page article in the March issue of Budget Travel magazine.

"While this Mississippi city will never forget Hurricane Katrina, its residents are ready to embrace a bright, shiny future," the article begins.

Readers will see photos of the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art pod pavilion on the beach along with the casino strip, Mary Mahoney's, Emeril's Gulf Coast Fish House and Hard Rock Casino. They'll learn the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport has more direct flights now than before Katrina, and that the Biloxi Bay Bridge again connects Biloxi with the live-music bars in Ocean Springs like the Julep Room Lounge.

"It's good for everybody," said Marjie Gowdy, director of the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art, who received a copy from the publisher.

Scavenging for Superdelegates

As we went to bed last night, the juicy New York Times headline "Black Leader, a Clinton Ally, Tilts to Obama" tucked us in. The story explained the soon-to-be defection of Georgia Rep. John Lewis from Hillary Clinton's camp to Barack Obama's. Lewis is a superdelegate and a civil rights leader whose district voted overwhelmingly for Barack Obama in Georgia's Super Tuesday primary. If he officially defected, his change of heart was thought to be a bellwhether for all of Clinton's superdelegates whose districts voted for Obama. The Times reported that Lewis "said Thursday night that he planned to cast his vote as a superdelegate for Senator Barack Obama in hopes of preventing a fight at the Democratic convention," but that Lewis was still weighing whether to officially endorse Obama.

But after changing his mind on Clinton, he may be changing his mind on Obama.

New call at accident blackspot

POOR driving and heavy traffic have been blamed for the high number of crashes at an accident blackspot in west Wiltshire.

Two people have been killed and several others injured over the past year on the A36 at Blackdog Hill near Chapmanslade, Warminster.

The latest crash was on Friday morning when a Toyota car towing a trailer overturned. Just a week before, two people were seriously injured in a three-car pile-up.

B.C. adds own probe into Taser death

Premier Gordon Campbell apologized yesterday on behalf of all British Columbians for the death of Polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski.

And the B.C. government launched a "full public inquiry" into his death at Vancouver International Airport.

Campbell said the impact on Dziekanski's mom was "devastating in more ways than I can imagine."

Conditions in Northern Iraq Worsen...But McCain Says The War is a ...

Republican presidential front runner John McCain wants to convince the United States that the war in Iraq is succeeding...even though Northern Iraq is in complete peril. If he can't get the American people to accept the Iraq war, he says, " I lose. I lose." Right after McCain made the statement to reporters from his campaign bus, he didn't take long to back-pedal. "If I may, I'd like to retract 'I'll lose.' But I don't think there's any doubt that how they judge Iraq will have a direct relation to their judgment of me."McCain has been an avid supporter of the Iraq War, and makes clear that he intends on keeping U.S troops in the Middle East until the "War on Terror" is complete. He made a statement last month indicating that the troops could possibly be in Iraq for another 10,000 years, and his support of the military surge has been something he constantly boasts about.McCain's Democratic rivals argue his candidacy would serve as a continuation of George Bush's failed policies.

Startup gives young people device to simulate real driving

The Sacramento area long has stood at the forefront of efforts to improve traffic safety.

In West Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol operates the world's top law-enforcement driver-training center. And east of the capital, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, born from the heartbreak of a Fair Oaks mother, has given a voice and mission to parents around the nation.

Now comes a startup company in El Dorado Hills that is working to reduce car accidents nationwide via technology. Virtual Driver Interactive builds and markets simulators that take teenagers and 20-somethings on dangerous journeys where the consequence of failure is merely failing a test rather than inflicting real-life pain.
